JN Long Cultural Arts Center hosts rotating gallery exhibitions throughout the year in two art galleries, featuring solo and group shows by local and regional artists. Exhibits are open to the public at no charge. The Made in Texas Gift Shop offers one-of-a-kind items created by local artists, including hand-painted furniture, home décor, jewelry, and functional art.
We offer year-round classes and workshops for all ages and skill levels. Current offerings include drawing, watercolor, oil painting, photography, ceramics, martial arts, and creative workshops. Classes are taught by working artists and instructors and are designed for beginners through advanced students.
Each spring, JN Long Cultural Arts Center hosts the Youth Art Show, showcasing artwork from hundreds of students in grades 1–12 from across Johnson County. This exhibit provides students the opportunity to display their work in a professional gallery setting.
We also host the annual Cleburne Arts Festival, bringing together artists, makers, live entertainment, food vendors, and family activities for a full-day community celebration of the arts.
Our facility includes flexible spaces for classes, exhibitions, meetings, and events, accommodating groups from small workshops to large gatherings. As a nonprofit arts organization, our mission is to enhance the quality of life in Cleburne and Johnson County by building a strong cultural arts community and increasing public awareness of the arts.
