JN Long Cultural Arts Complex - James Haddock Solo Show

James Haddock is a retired public school teacher, counselor and private therapist. He now can focus his full attention on his new found love of art. He will be the featured artist at JN Long Cultural Arts Complex?s Solo Artist Show Tuesday, July 24 to Friday, August 4, Tuesdays thru Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
    James undergraduate degree is in business education and his graduate degrees are in counseling and psychology. After retirement, a part time position doing play therapy with kindergarten children taught him it was ok for adults to play. Art for him is play and brings him great pleasure.
    James inspirations are nature and the feelings the changing seasons brings, the wonderful textures and colors that surround him when he is in the mountain or at the seashore. He tries to capture the colors and textures in his paintings so that other people can view them and experience pleasure
