An outrageously hilarious race agains the clock begins when Savannah Sprunt Fairchild Honeycutt agrees to get her feisty mother from Alabama to California for her brother’s wedding. One problem: Mama won’t fly. With only four days until the ceremony, Savannah, Mama, and the bride-to-be embark on a hastily conceived road trip in Mama's old Buick. The trip is full of chaos, including car theft, a near-fatal encounter at an underwear museum, an accidental homicide, and maybe even a brawl with an ordained Vegas showgirl/minister.
