Ventriloquist and former Miss Texas Gloria Gilbert-Barron 

Gloria was trained in the art of ventriloquism since the age of 6, she has captivated audiences throughout the United States with her brand of humor, song, and entertainment.

Gloria was chosen Miss Texas in 1982 and since has received numerous awards and accolades. As an entertainer and ventriloquist, she has opened shows and appeared with such greats as Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, LeAnn Rimes, Neal McCoy, Charlie Pride, Randy Travis and Willie Nelson.

Her most memorable performances were with the legendary Bob Hope. She has appeared twice before presidents and has roasted numerous senators, governors, mayors and Speaker of the House of representatives.

In addition to being Mistress of Ceremonies for the Miss Texas Pageant and telecast Gloria loves to give of her time and talents to special causes.
